Got some time to kill? Need some new A-class listening material? Well, we’ve compiled some of FGRLSCLUB’s fave feminist podcasts to spice up your daily commute.
This anti-slut shaming podcast from Corrine Fisher and Krystyna Hutchinson is witty, dry and bloody hits the nail on the head. We recommend the Amber Rose episode, it’ll turn even the biggest naysayer into her number 1 fan. If you’re lucky enough to live in the USA, check out their tour ‘Sorry About Last Night’ and let me live vicariously through you.
Bitch Media does it again with this Podcast. It’s truly the ray of sunshine and realness we all need in our lives. With advice on how to resist Donald Trump, how could you not give it a listen? Episodes focus on a multitude of topics, from ‘redefining dating’ to the murder of Jordan Edwards – nothing is off limits.
If you haven’t listened to this Podcast, where have you been? It discusses topics that “all 21st century feminists agree on” whilst highlighting their insecurities, hypocrisies and doubts. Ever feel like you’re not good at feminism? Then this is the listen for you.
Pandora and Dolly are whip smart journalists, both former columnists and podcast hosts at The Sunday Times, they ventured off to start something new. Inspired by Tina Brown’s term ‘high low journalism’ that describes the amalgamation of gossip and hard-hitting stories. They based The High Low on the idea that a well-lived life is one that enjoys both the trivial and the political.
Stevie and Tessa run The Debrief’s podcast that centres around adulting and how on earth to do it. Full of lolz, genuinely helpful advice and the odd ramble; it’s the podcast embodiment of having a cuppa with your bestie on a Sunday morning. A personal fave is ‘How To Survive Other People’s Weddings’, ‘cus that shit’s hard.
Happy listening…
